HILL & VALLEY wall piece
Casting of a discarded piece of sound insulation foam – or in Danish; egg tray foam. The play between light and shadow is in focus, changing the perception of the wall piece as light shifts during the day.
Each wall piece has come to life as a byproduct of the experimental process behind the project (textures). The handcrafted pieces reinterpret the surfaces and expressions of salvaged materials such as mattress foam, polyurethane foam cut-offs and sound insulation foams, to create unconventional designs and new sensory experiences.
