Tall WRAPPED candle sculpture
Tall casting of a string-wrapped discarded piece of sound insulation foam, transformed into a candle holder sculpture. The play between light and shadow is in focus, changing the perception of the object as light shifts during the day.
Each candle sculpture has come to life as a byproduct of the experimental process behind the project (textures). The handcrafted pieces reinterpret the surfaces and expressions of salvaged materials such as mattress foam, polyurethane foam cut-offs and sound insulation foams, to create unconventional designs and new sensory experiences.
